AT CARNEGIE’S INCEPTION, it was headquartered in Cleveland’s University Circle district in its first new development project, the nine-story University Cedar Medical Office Building. Carnegie’s mission was to build custom designed properties constructed for specific tenants’ needs. This responsive approach to development expanded Carnegie into a full-service real estate development and management company, with its focus on long term asset-based growth.
